On Tuesday, May 19, 2009 members from Variety Boys and Girls Club were able to attend a Dodger Game. But prior to the game, our club members were able to go down on the baseball field and meet Dodger Great, Matt Kemp. Fittingly, this program that the Los Angeles Dodgers have is called Kemp's Kids. They were filled with excitement as they had their shirts signed by Dodger Great Matt Kemp. In return, Matt Kemp gave the club members tickets to sit in the Field Level and were treated to dinner courtesy of Panda Express. In appreciation, our members gave Matt Kemp a portrait of him batting and all the members signed the potrait.This was truly a unique experience for our club members and one they will not forget.
